Product Review: MARIELLA DESIGNS

I don't often do reviews on stationery (you know, with the whole me trying to make a living selling my own stuff!) but sometimes, certain companies and designs just strike me as pretty fabulous and I have to say something.

One of those companies is Mariella Designs.

We all know I'm a little preppy and love my critters and stuff, but I also have a shabby chic vintage side to me. The cards over at Mariella Designs are just that: Vintage style and bloody luscious!

Here are a few of my favorite folded note cards (that are so thick, you'd think they'd be more expensive. Hey, if I could print my designs on card stock this fabulous, I totally would).

WHAT THE HELL?!

I'm pissed off.

The company that hosts my English Tea Paperie website happens to have their server down. No warning. With their server down, that means no English Tea Paperie. No emails. I can't reply to my customers, I can't receive orders.

What scares me, is that they've just up and gone. Maybe they've gone bankrupt. Or maybe they just decided to quit. That would mean having to redesign my entire website and start from scratch. A backup was made, but guess what? Yeah, it's on their server.

I'm pissed off people, really pissed off.

UPDATE: OK, everything is back to normal now. Phew, panic over!

Pretty Darn Cool!

I was doing my weekend bloglines reading (gotta keep up with all 181 blogs I subscribe to! I may not comment on them all, but I promise I do read them!) and saw this cool little thingy that rates your blog reading level.

I thought my result was pretty darn cool.

I love the big ball I use in gym class, so I had to pick one up for myself (in pink of course!) and when I got home, I realized something pretty cute...

A Million Squillion Bucks!

If there's one dress that makes me feel like a million squillion bucks, it's the J.Crew Trastevere dress I just recently purchased.

Please excuse my "gym" hair and seriously pasty skin!

Now, if anyone can find me the matching shorts or skirt in a size 10, please let me know and I'll send you a check in the mail to cover it all, plus shipping (oh and some free ETP cards!!). I need to own the whole Trastevere collection, I'm serious!

Speaking of J.Crew items that I need (my husband is trying to teach me the difference between "want" and "need" - I personally don't see a difference!!!) I need the shirt below:



They don't have it in my size online or in store (a 10). Anyone seen one in their local store? S, my little J.Crew bunny, do they have one in your store?

UPDATE: I went to my local J.Crew and found the only pair of the Trastevere shorts (which were in a size 10 - it was meant to be) for only $14.99. Can we all say "FABULOUS"!!
